PRE-PRODUCTION: Jane Cole LLC provides estimates, free of charge, for any and all jobs, upon request.
For first time clients a credit card hold/authorization is required. (click here for credit authorization document)
For new and current clients booking any single job with an invoice that totals over $10,000.00, the client shall provide 50% of the total invoice amount to Jane Cole LLC prior to the start of production. (click here for credit authorization document) The remaining balance shall be due within 30 days of receipt of the final invoice.
Jane Cole LLC applies Net 30 terms to all payments due for services provided. Unless a prior arrangement has been made before the start of production, in writing, signed by both parties, Jane Cole LLC will apply a late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding invoice for clients failing to pay their balance within 30 days.
PRODUCTION: Production day rates are based on a 10-hour day, including travel time, with a minimum of 45 minutes break time per 10-hour day. For billing purposes, a 10-hour day shall be defined as any production consisting of more than 4 hours of consecutive work. Any production consisting of less than 4 hours of consecutive work, including travel time, will be billed at 50% of the standard day rate. Any production consisting of more than 4 hours of work, including travel time, will be billed at 100% of the standard day rate. Any production consisting of more than 10 hours of production will be billed at 150% of the standard day rate.
CANCELLATIONS: All shoots must be canceled at least 24 hours before that start of production. A shoot that is canceled later than 24 hours before the start of production will be billed 100% of the estimated cost of production.
POST-PRODUCTION: Post-Production day rates are based on a 8-hour day. Rush jobs that require more than 8 hours of editing per day will be billed on a case-by-case basis, with the rate to be determined by the producer and approved by the client before the start of post-production.
PROMOTIONAL USE: Jane Cole LLC reserves the right to reserves the right to exhibit any and all footage, graphics and audio produced in-house, for promotional purposes only, and to distribute said promotional materials through its website and via DVD or tape based show reels, UNLESS an exclusive distribution/ownership agreement is specified by the client in advance.
CORRECTIONS: If a correction to the edit is required due to a technical error, it will be reconciled by Jane Cole LLC at no additional charge to the client. If a correction to the edit is required due to TASTE, the correction(s) will be billed at the standard editing and/or graphic design day rate that applies to that particular job, as specified in the estimate. Taste corrections shall include, but not be limited to: change in length from original agreed-upon length, change of music, additional graphics, color correction (if not requested in original invoice), format conversion, replacement of footage, replacement of dialogue (ADR), additional sound effects, additional hard copies, additional uploads of corrected materials to client FTP.
RENTAL: All renters will be required to either a) have a certificate of insurance at the time of rental or b) pay the full rental price upfront. All renters will be required to sign Jane Cole LLC rental paperwork and to leave a copy of their driver’s license on file before taking any equipment off premises.
Equipment rental rates are billed for any 24 hour period, or part thereof, in which the equipment is dedicated to the service of a particular client and unavailable to the staff of Jane Cole LLC for other use. This includes travel days. Equipment traveling to or from a shoot will be billed at 100% of the standard day rate, per day, or part thereof, in which the equipment is on-set or in transit to/from set.
