We knew the call would come , we just didn't know when. When the phone rang, we were ready. Our client needed to book a shoot using the new Canon 5dD. Its the DSLR that shoots both stills and HI Definition video. Fortunately, we stay on the cutting edge. Not only did we have the camera but we have experience with it. Not something many people can say. DP Michael Chase said , "The look is fantastic". You can't imagine the quality video you get out of this camera. It has superior depth of field, the battery life is impressive and it is easy to shoot double sync sound as a backup. Plus, you can get 45 minutes on one 16gb CF card. It makes beautiful pictures that are very close to film."
